When Nordea, the biggest bank in Scandinavia, decided to renew their brand they also wanted to build a strong sonic brand. The Nordea sound signature was created to audibly represent the Nordea brand as a memorable sound in its own right and to amplify the Nordea logo animation.

Digital banking with a pulse and a sonic hook
This entailed a new Nordea sound logo meant to co-exist with the new animated logo in several variations. New music was created – The Nordea brand moods – with corresponding music toolbox and sound ID guidelines for best possible roll-out and continued use.
Unmute's work for Nordea was nominated for an International Sound Award in 2019.
