Work > Sjællandske Medier
As media companies transition from print to digital, their brands must evolve beyond the visual. Because today, news isn’t just read - it’s seen, felt, and heard. For Sjællandske Medier, one of Denmark’s leading regional media houses, this transformation called for a new way to express their identity. Not only through color and motion, but through sound.
The sound of news today
When designer Tobias Røder reimagined Sjællandske Medier’s visual universe, he defined a fresh, modern, and distinctly local identity built around the brand’s signature cyan color. Our task was to translate that same essence into sound and to give the brand a sonic presence that feels trustworthy, dynamic, and unmistakably Sjællandske.
The result is a complete sonic identity: a sonic logo, a brand theme, and a set of adaptable audio assets designed for use across podcasts, video content, digital platforms, and live events. It’s a sound that makes Sjællandske Medier recognizable by ear, wherever their stories are told.
