As part of an extensive rebranding Det Nordjyske Mediehus, one of the biggest media enterprises in Denmark, decided to add sonic branding to their new brand identity. Unmute was trusted with the task of translating their new vision into sound and music and giving their many sub brands a common voice.

A panoramic view through sound
Det Nordjyske Mediehus covers the region of Nordjylland, the Northern part of Denmark. A region known for its raw yet beautiful nature and old traditions as well as modern technology.
With that in mind we set out to define the Sound of Nordjylland and create a holistic sound identity to audibly unite their many newspapers, radio stations, podcasts and online platforms. The result is now heard throughout their communication, content and marketing and plays a big part in the new brand identity of Det Nordjyske Mediehus.
